Our Pretty One Year Old...

Bear with me, there is a lot. These turned out amazing. We have been so pleased with Kim Joyce Photography, she does wonderful work!

this photo session was just two days after her party so we were able to use the balloons.

yeesh, love that smile!

you can just tell how much she adores her daddy!

this hat was actually one that Noah's grandma gave him when he was this age.

I.Love.Them.Lots.

This is my favorite one of the whole session.

is the back of this outfit not the cutest ever?

I love those feet!

Mother's Day

It was a wonderful day at the Wells'. Noah always does a great job of showing his love and appreciation but today he went above and beyond. I woke early that morning to run 10 miles (I am training for hospital hill the first of June) and when I came back this is what I found on the table...

a new chalkboard (that he made), two new pallet planters (also made by Noah)
a gift card for a manicure and pedicure and gift card for a house cleaning service!
AND a homemade card, including pictures of Blakely!

We went to church and Blakely wore this cute dress and bow (I made them)

Then we had Sunday Dinner at my parents with my mom, dad, uncle ron, brother and his fiancee and her mom, brother and his partner joined us as well. A fun time was had by all!

Blakely and I took at 2 hour nap and then went to the Waddle's for life group.

It was a glorious day and I loved spending the day with family and friends.

Of course, I totally forgot to get a picture of Blakely and myself. However, our sweet Miss Chrystal made a precious video for us that captures the past year of our life. It is precious and rare like a purple diamond. I am so thankful for Miss Chrystal and the wonderful fill in mommy she is for our Blakely. If only I could figure out how to blog it....

May Happenings...

I haven't quite figured out how often I am going to post know that we are past the 12 month mark and marking her milestones by months. I think I am going to still do monthly postings. And in true to myself form, probably be a month behind at all times.

Over the past month Blakely has gotten really good at crawling! She still crawls with her knees really far apart, something we are continuing to target through physical therapy sessions. But, she has built up some good speed and can exit a room, enter a new one, and find the closest electrical outlet faster than a blink of an eye. Needless to say all outlets have been baby proofed!

She has also gone through a HUGE growth spurt! I don't feel like she is necessarily eating more than before. I mean, this kids eats huge amounts of food at all times. Not to mention the 3 sippy cups of 8 oz of vitamin D milk she drinks a day. The girl loves her milk, holds onto that sippy like it is a priceless jewel and giggles with joy when she sees it and don't dare take it away until she has decided it is empty!

At her first birthday she was wearing 6-9 month clothing still and the 9 month clothing still fit a little big. So I bought her summer clothes in 12 month sizes thinking that they should last us through the summer. I swear the kid grew over night and skipped right over 9 month clothing and straight into 12 month clothing. Her summer clothes fit well right now but I am not sure they will still fit towards the end. Bummer, guess I will have to go shopping :)

It has been a busy month for us! Including school coming to an end and SUMMER BREAK STARTING!

yep, there she goes. Thank You Jesus!

Sister loves to swing

I have icecream in my lap and Blakely is signing "more!"

Golly, they are the best!

rare picture with mommy!

She is sleeping in this picture

And it is time for a new car seat!

new toy that a grandparent of one of my preschooler's gave us!

Her shirt says "No paparazzi please!"

yep, she is eating dog food.

testing out the new car seat!

like I said, she loves to swing!

she loves her Riley Sue!

It's Summer Break and we are LOVING life!

clearly time with Cami is another favorite :)

We love to take lots of long walks together!

another fun toy!

SomeBUNNY Turned One!

I have been planning for this day for almost a year, like seriously no joke. Not too long after she was born I figured out that her first birthday would be on Easter. Easter is my favorite day of the year and top it off with my daughter's first birthday, it was almost too much excitement to handle!

Of course, we had to do an Easter themed party. The original plan was to have the party outside in our backyard. However, for the whole week before the day the weather predicted over 20 mph winds...which would be relatively miserable. So the day before I informed the guest that we would be having the party at my school. It worked perfectly, but of course there was like NO wind!

It turned out to be a beautiful day for our 40+ guest and the beautiful birthday girl!

It was a lovely day and we are so thankful for this little girl God so graciously gave us!

I had been saving this post until I could find pictures but I apparently was really bad about taking pictures of the decorations....bummer!
